    Job Description:

    The purpose of this job description is to describe the authority, responsibilities, and duties of CTI’s Software Architect.

    The Software Architect is responsible for interaction with clients, brand managers, and other executive developers in order to envision, model and provide initial designs that can be built to fit the current needs of the company.


    • Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
    • Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product.
    • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
    • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
    • Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team.
    • Oversee progress of project development & team players to ensure consistency with initial design.
    • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
    • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
    • Approve and train on final product before launch.


    • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience as software architect.
    • Experience with ATS systems (Bullhorn, ICIMS’s preferred).
    • Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java etc.)
    • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
    • Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods.
    • Familiarity with HTML/CSS, api, JavaScript and UI/UX design.
    • Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
    • A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
    • High quality organizational and leadership skills.
    • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
    • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
    • Must be able to handle confidential/sensitive information professionally, as well as manage multiple and changing priorities simultaneously.
    • Must demonstrate superior service skills as well as ability to work in a team environment.
    • Highly organized and a good planner, demonstrates excellent attendance and loyalty to the organization.
    • Ability to organize work, plan multiple activities, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with the ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
