CTI Group Worldwide Services Inc. is a global recruiting firm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL with offices in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar offering Human Resources, travel, payroll, training and uniform services to the cruise and hotel/resort industries.

 

Currently, we are searching for an Account Lead Representative to join our Fort Lauderdale team with possible travel to Asia that can last from weeks to extended months at a time. The Account Lead Representative will be the primary contact for multiple cruise line partners, providing a professional turn-key, one-stop solution for all client requirements and requests.  If required to work in Asia, housing will be provided and work permits.  Working hours can be extend into some weekends and evenings, Asia time, as we are on a 12-hour time difference in work hours.  The job will also touch on processing, recruiting, policies and procedures of the company. For the right person who has a customer first and leader mentality there is opportunity for growth and advancement within the company. 

 

 

Maintains FM areas in a clean and orderly condition by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Incumbent will be responsible to clean FM cabins.

Supports Dining Room Steward in all aspects of food and beverage service according to the established company standards.

Travel to the yachts and extended stay up to 12 months on board is required. Regularly required to sit and stand. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. To carry out any kind of Carpenter work and required deck work in accordance with the instructions from his superiors.

To run a main section independently with as little supervision as possible. Must have in-depth knowledge of all sections within the hot and cold kitchen.  A CDP must display strong leadership skills and the ability to train and coach subordinates.  The CDP position is the link between the Galley Management and all other lower position in a Galley Operation.  The position is a very important key role and is fully supported by middle management in all areas.

The Assistant Baker will have the responsibility to prepare all the mise en place and other various preparation needed to complete his task in the given time. He will need to be familiar with the bakery section in order to be effective and productive.

    • To provide guests with courteous and professional service.
    • To increase revenue for the company and self by applying up-selling techniques.
    • To meet and exceed sales targets.
    • To ensure the smooth running of the Bar Department in the absence of the Bar Manager. Must be totally conversant with the Beverage Operations Manual.
    • The Assistant Cook is responsible for all the basic preparation needed in his allocated area of work.
    • Must be flexible and show motivation and eagerness. 
    • Required to know the basic culinary knowledge in order to perform to the company standards.

The Assistant Electrician is responsible for supporting the maintenance of all electrical equipment and systems as directed by the Chief Electrical Engineer to ensure safety operation, environmental protection and passenger comfort.

 

In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

    • While performing the essential functions of this job, all team members are required to stand; walk long distances on the ship; use hands to touch, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell.
    • All vessel positions require repetitive motion of bending, climbing, going up and down stairs and lifting more than 25 pounds. This job requires specific vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • All team members must be physically able to participate in emergency life saving procedures and drills. All vessel positions require full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats.
    • Work within different temperature changes – indoors to outdoors.
    • Able to pass basic safety course.
    • This is a minimal description of duties. Other work requirements may be necessary and assigned as business or maritime law dictates.

The Assistant Guest Relations Manager will assist the Guest Relations Manager in continuously improving the overall ratings and is held accountable for the guest relations experience.

Assist the Pastry Cook with the pastry items for the whole vessel, assuring quality and quantity with his team. Follow the recipes set forth by the company and maintain the highest standards on board.

Responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems as directed by the Refrigeration Engineer.

    • To ensure the smooth running of the Bar Department on a day-to-day basis, in line with the Company’s standards and policies as outlined in the bar operations manual, and in the Human Resources manual.

    • To provide guests with courteous and professional service.
    • To minimize/eliminate guests’ complaints.

Assist the Bartenders in keeping the bars and pantries clean, organized, and well supplied.
